Solid Waste Advisory Committee

SWAC Mission (1988 City Resolution):

1. To assist the City Council and city staff in evaluating all solid waste and recycling functions of the City of Bath; 

2. to understand the state of the markets for disposal and recycling of solid waste; 

3. to guide the City to reach environmental goals in its handling of solid waste and recycled materials; 

4. and to make recommendations to the City Council regarding those functions.

Appointments and Meeting Schedule

This is a standing committee. Appointments of Councilors by Council Chairperson, annually. Citizen Appointments by Council in 3-yr terms. 

Meetings are held on the 4th Monday of each month at 5 p.m. in the auditorium at City Hall.
