Are you ready to turn summer into an unforgettable adventure? The Parks and Recreation Department is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Summer Camp Supervisor
Embrace the sunshine, unleash your creativity, and lead the charge in planning and organizing summer camp activities for kids grades 1-6.
🏕️ Position Overview: As the Summer Camp Supervisor, you are the go-to person for our camp counselors, providing guidance, support, and inspiration throughout the summer.
🌈 Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute mind-blowing summer camp activities that spark joy and creativity.
- Supervise and inspire a team of energetic camp counselors, ensuring smiles are as abundant as sunscreen.
- Foster a positive and inclusive camp environment where every camper feels like a superstar.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Parks and Recreation Director and Summer Camp Director to bring fresh, exciting ideas to the table.
- Evaluate and celebrate the awesomeness of each camp counselor, providing constructive feedback to help them level up.
🚀 Requirements:
- A bachelor's Degree in education, recreation or similar is desired
- One year of youth sports/childcare or public engagement experience
- Know how to safely use and maintain recreation equipment and facilities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, participants, instructors, community leaders, and the general public.
- Basic First Aid and CPR Certified
