Front & Elm Streetscape Project

The City of Bath has contracted with VIEWSHED, a Yarmouth-based landscape architecture firm, to create design concepts for the intersection of Elm Street and Front Street as well as Front Street (between Summer and Elm Streets) to achieve several goals, including:

• Creating a destination area.
• Improving conditions for pedestrians and bicyclists
• Improving motor vehicle traffic flow.
• Maintaining current public parking conditions.

The initial concept phase, design and engineering phases have been completed and construction is expected to start in Spring 2025.
