Planning & Development Projects

The Planning & Development Department works cross-functionally on projects to accomplish its goals to build a more livable, sustainable, and productive environment.

The Planning Board holds regular meetings at City Hall on the first Tuesday of the month. One week prior to a meeting, the agenda gets posted on the Planning Board page and posted in hardcopy in the hallway beside the clerk’s office at City Hall.

Agendas are also posted in the Press Herald 7 days in advance

Public hearing notices are published in the Press Herald and mailed to abutters using current Assessing records as determined by State Statute and City of Bath ordinance requirements

Bath Zoning Update-Updates to the City's Land Use Code to align with the goals laid out in the comprehensive plan

Elm Street Redesign Project - Design concepts for the intersection of Elm Street and Front Street as well as Front Street

Morse High School Redevelopment - Planning for future redevelopment of the old Morse High School located at 826 High Street
